Cultural Heritage Management

Cultural Heritage Management

Relationships and Consistency.

Ochre Community Consulting can help you meet the obligations set out in your Cultural Heritage Management Plan or Indigenous Land Use Agreement. We act as a service provider for Traditional Owner groups, particularly those in and around the Cooper Basin in south west Queensland and north eastern South Australia.

We will ensure appropriately trained Cultural Heritage Officers are on hand to conduct site clearances and verification for major infrastructure and mining projects. Ochre Community Consulting can also provide staffing solutions to fill contract employment roles; benefiting the Traditional Owner group and ensuring companies can meet corporate Indigenous employment targets.

We believe respect and honesty is the key to successful relationships with Indigenous Australians. By carefully managing the relationship with Traditional Owner groups, we will handle all aspects of the training, mobilisation, Human Resources and payroll functions.

A snapshot of what we can do:

  • Provide on-site Cultural Heritage Officers
  • Indigenous staffing solutions
  • Facilitate meetings
  • Develop strategies aligned with the Commonwealth
    Governments’ Indigenous Opportunity Policy.
Ochre Community Consulting respectfully acknowledges Indigenous Australians past and present
as the Traditional Owners and custodians of the land on which we live and work.
